Home Experience Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm..

Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm..

From July to November the kids & adults can get their hands on fresh strawberries direct from the patch. You can also grab a punnet from the on-site shop, but it’s likely strawberry ice creams will be the big hit.

Take advantage of the beautiful weather by visiting the Chambers Flat Strawberry Farm (912 Chambers Flat Road, Chambers Flat QLD). This venue is locally renown for producing delicious strawberries and providing families with hands-on farming experiences. Visitors will enjoy wandering through extensive rows of mature strawberry plants and picking their own fruit for purchase.

Strawberry farm is currently open with freshly picked strawberries in the shop, fresh strawberry ice cream and other goodies available.

PICK YOUR OWN will open in August September and October only.

At the farm shop, collected strawberries are weighed and charged at $15 per kilo. Punnets and loose strawberries can be purchased, along with cheaper punnets of “seconds” and smaller sized “jam” strawberries. It is worthwhile having a browse through the shop – despite its small size, the shelves are stocked with a variety of treats and specialty foods, including jams, biscuits, meringues, lollies etc.

Of course, a trip to the Berry Patch is not complete without buying a chocolate coated strawberry on a stick or a cup of blended ice cream and strawberries.

The grassy area in front of the shop is an ideal location for enjoying your treats. There are several picnic tables and chairs for relaxing, a sandpit and a wooden play fort with a slide.

When: in Season, Strawberry picking is open 8:30am-4:30 daily.
